Please take a look at my most Commonly Asked Questions. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, please contact me.
Q: I’VE PLACED AN ORDER FOR A DIGITAL DESIGN…WHAT DO I DO NEXT?
A: Follow these steps:
1. Send an email to (tintsandprints@gmail.com) containing:
– text/wording for your card
– attach your picture or pictures (depending on layout)
– which color option shown you’re requesting
***Don’t forget to let me know if you’d like a design for a 5×7 or a 4×6 print.***
2. After I receive all your info, in about 24-48 hours (but usually less), you will receive a proof via e-mail. I will work with you until the final product is just what you want.
3. Once you approve the proof, you can take it or upload it to any photo finisher (Snapfish, Shutterfly, etc.) you’d like to have prints made. This is an affordable way to get custom cards.
If you’d like to have them printed on premium +100 lb. cardstock, please contact me for info on my additional Printing Services, which are described here: http://www.tintsandprints.com/print-services/
Q: IF I PRINT THE DIGITAL IMAGE I PURCHASED, WHERE SHOULD I PRINT THEM?
A: You can take them to your favorite photo lab or upload them to Shutterfly, Snapfish, etc. You can print photo prints, which is an affordable way to get custom cards. You can also print at home on 80-100 lb. white cardstock.
Q: CAN I ADD A QUOTE OR CHANGE THE WORDING?
A: Absolutely!
Q: CAN I CHANGE COLORS, PARTS OF THE DESIGN, ETC?
A: I am more than willing to customize a design for you. When a standard card is needing modification like this, I ask customers to purchase a Custom Design listing (additional fee applies) and we can get started on the perfect card for you. Contact me for details.
Q: CAN I GET MATCHING DESIGNS FOR THANK YOU CARDS, ETC?
A: Yes, I can design coordinating items for all my designs. Take a look here for some examples. http://www.tintsandprints.com/portfolio/matching-collection/
Q: WHAT IF I WANT A DESIGN OTHER THAN WHAT IS SEEN IN MY SHOP?
A: Please contact me with your ideas and we can work together to create a custom design that is made just for you.
Q: IS THE EMAILED FILE READY FOR PRINTING?
A: Yes, the emailed file was a high resolution JPEG. All you need to do is save the file onto your computer and upload to a photo finisher or print yourself. I do not recommend sending files to print from mobile phones or devices; it can change the file resolution.
Q: MY FILE IS NOT UPLOADING PROPERLY…WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
A: The file you purchased is a high resolution JPEG. It’s formatted to specific pixels for your card size with 300 dpi, which is an extremely high resolution. It is recommended that you save the file onto your computer to ensure the high resolution is not changed, and upload to the photo finisher of your choice. It is not recommended to send digital files to a print shop from your mobile phone or devices; this can change the file resolution.
